1 star is even too much for this place!!!! if you come to Tucson, and you only have the choice of sleeping under a bridge or at this place, GO TO SLEEP UNDER A BRIDGE!! you might get less illnesses.... NEVER GO THERE!!!
Before I moved to Tucson, I
booked an apartment at the Campus Crossings at the 8th Street. I wanted to see actual pictures of my future apartment, but they told me that those are already in the webpage, and also the plans of the apartment. So I relied on them and I moved on with the payment of the security deposit (around 1300 $) and the first rent (850$) plus nearly 100 $ of administration fees. I was really stupid doing this.
First of all, when I came to Tucson (27th of August), I could not go directly to the apartment I booked, because the office were close at the time I came, so I had to go to an hotel. On the 28th I came to my apartment at the Campus Crossings and I found some things that I didn't expect:
First, the carpet on the apartment was really dusty, I could find pieces of paper, safety pins, pieces of sweets all around.... just DISGUSTING! I told them, and they kept me saying that they will come tomorrow for 3 days... I finally decided to clean it myself....
In the second place, they told me that internet was included in the rent, but I could actually use it in my apartment, because I needed to buy a router. The only internet I had was at the patio. I didn't have lights on the living room and the bedroom either...
On Sunday morning I moved in, and on Monday I woke up with the first bites in my legs. At the beginning I though that they might have been mosquitoes, as I was at the patio the evening before, but after days passed, I got more and more bites... I got so many bites, that I got an allergic reaction. Finally, yesterday night I started considering the possibility of the existence of BED BUGS in the matress or in the carpets, and I started to look for them until I found one...
I talk to the person at the Campus Crossings office, the same that always told me that they will clean my carpet tomorrow, and she told me that they called a person specialized in extermination, and that they did not find beg bugs, but other kind of bugs that live on carpets.... my doctor was quite sure that my bites were bed bug bites...
Of course the don't understand why I want to break the contract and they want me to pay the rent this month!!! This place is a FRAUD! NEVER EVER GO THERE!
I rented from fall 2016 through fall 2016.

Definitely the best value you'll find close to campus. Parking is free, rent is inexpensive, and they always have tons of events to go to.
I rented from fall 10 through summer 11.

From the reviews I've seen here and on Yelp, this better NOT be the situation.
I, as a parent signed a lease 2013 and if this crap does occur "Big Red" and her little clone Kaitlyn definitely WILL have someone to answer to.
Ever here of the Honey
Badger? , well that is me times 2, so please be prepared if these ratings are as noted.
I've have campus crossings 8th street corporate number and am willing to call to BIOTCH if that is the case.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
As much as possible go find a house with a nice landlord. I lived on a 2 bedroom; one is private and the other one is shared. I lived on the shared room and paid 370. It is a very small apartment and the total charge for the whole
apartment is actually 1500 for 3 people (private pays more). They keep comparing their prices with university dorms, but the thing is, the university dorms offer more convenience despite certain rules.
The staff is horrible. They do not know anything. Every time you ask for something, there seems to be a fee included. I am going to be honest and say that they are stupid.
The laundry room will eat your quarters and no significant fix has been made.
The elevators are crappy that every time you enter, it will make a loud noise and wiggle down as if the cable are about to break.
Roommate matching is a piece of crap. I requested for a non-smoking room and during one summer they gave me a heavy smoker. Moreover, you do not get what you list down. Even if you put down how clean you are, you will still get the most disgusting roommate. If you request a new room, they will just charge you and keep charging you.
The room they showed you during your tour is just a mirage. The actual room you will get is crap and have defects around. The first time I move in, there was already a person living and the staff did not even bother to clean out the apartment, so all the objects left by previous renters were just spread out in the apartment. They kept BSing me that they did not clean it because there was one person living there. The blinds keep falling apart, the bars on the bed were broken, the mattress that you will use is old and was used by previous renters.
The security gates are a joke, even the staff are putting rocks to hold open the gates because they are too lazy to use their keys to open them over and over again, so some of the renters got robbed during summer when there are less people in the rooms.
Some of the renters are party animals, so expect loud noises despite the walls.
The swamp cooler (AC) is really really really loud when you turn it on, the only good thing about it is that it is cheaper that regular AC.
I rented from fall 10 through summer 11.

Where to begin. You're "lovely" endeavor here begins with a phony, juvenile and ignorant staff. My apartment was broken into and I called them in the middle of the night to change my locks and the management refused to replace them AND charged me $90 for
"new" locks because the intruder damaged the previous ones. The director Amy, "Big Red" and her little clone Kaitlyn laughed at my situation. They are complete frauds. If you enjoy to live in roach-infested, dirty frat like areas, rude staff and WAY overpriced living, then move here.

DON'T LIVE HERE! The management is terrible, there is always pee in the elevator, the gates are always broken. You will never get your security deposit back, and the parties are ridiculous. I ended up calling the cops on my neighbors after filing many
complaints with the manager and they did nothing. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.
